It has been a month since that tragic day. Our "America in crisis" forum is still open. Come and express your feelings and concerns. I feel warm just by reading all your messages. It's good to know that you care, and it's good to know that good outnumbers bad. The forum is at http://isopersonals.com/grief.html
To be honest, I have been worried about chemical and biological terrorism. It is much easier to do than you think. All they have to do is releasing lethal chemicals or diseases into the air or water and were all dead. Its strange. A few months ago, I was so grateful to be born in the time that new technology is invented everyday. Did you hear about the 5 gigabytes that fits into a Palm Pilot? Amazing, hah? Yah, and now I am scared that our new technology is going to kill us. Well, it is so much for living in the "It is the best of times, it is the worst of times" period.

This week our quotes are:
Tough people are not born; they are made
when no one is there for them to wipe their own tears...
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
Nelson Mandela
People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.
Abigail Van Buren
Clearly the first quote is applied to so many people in the last month. We see mothers, wives, and children wiping their own tears. We see ordinary people become our heroes for doing extraordinary things.
The second quote goes so well with my thoughts above. I have never thought that we are inadequate, but we have seen us become powerful beyond measure on that Sept 11 morning. Just a few suicidal people could bring down colossal towels and brought on so much pain to so many people.
For the last quote, I think the terrorists played with fire when they attacked us, but now we are playing with fire too. I cannot think of another way to deal with the terrorists, but I hope we don't end up in ashes.

This week were just going to have two short romantic tips for you from the best-selling author Michael Webb.
TWO FORKS, TWO KNIVES, ONE PLATE
by Michael Webb
Have you ever watched Lady and the Tramp? If I ask you what is the first thing that comes to mind, you probably would say the scene where they are sharing a plate of spaghetti.
There is no doubt about it, food is romantic. It amplifies the senses and fulfills one of our deepest needs. There are certain types of food that are romantic by nature: chocolate, strawberries and small pastries for example. Then there are foods that are romantic because of the atmosphere: surrounded by candles, elegant music playing in the background, or served on a linen covered table with a vase of fresh flowers.
Who would have thought that a plate of spaghetti could be so romantic? But Lady and the Tramp showed us that sharing one plate is a perfect way to be united with one another. Have you ever eaten off the same plate as your love? How often do you feed each other? When was the last time you shared a strand of spaghetti or a baby corn and ended in a kiss?
Everyone has to eat. But not everyone has to have his or her own plate.
WIPE ON, WIPE OFF
For decades men and women have been writing messages on bathroom mirrors. With the invention of dry erase markers bathroom mirror communication can be taken to the next level.
A packet of dry erase markers can be purchased at any office supply store and only cost a couple of dollars. They make great tools with which to pen your sonnets and love notes on mirrors, car windows and even some appliances.
With a variety of colors you can draw all sorts of pictures on the glass or metal canvas. Decorate the mirror with hearts, smiley faces or an impressionistic landscape. You could even play tic-tac-toe or hangman.
Best of all, they clean up quickly with a swipe of tissue.
